PG Stevie Clark spent half a season at Oklahoma St before being removed from the team. Good Luck, Stevie. Welcome to UTRGV!

Been awhile since I logged in but this caught my eye. I can shed some light on Stevie Clark as I saw him a ton living in Big 12 country. Talented kid, but his family is in the middle of suing Travis Ford and Okie State. After he left Okie State, he was supposed to play at one of the premier JUCOs in the country, Indian Hills CC in Iowa, but I don't think he ever logged any minutes. The trouble he got in at Okie State, in my opinion, was very blown out of proportion. Albeit dumb things, they were just that, dumb things. To me, the kid never seemed to have any malice in his actions. In regards to his family suing Travis Ford and Okie State, I hope it's not a distraction. Allegedly, they claim Stevie was pressured and hazed by Marcus Smart and other teammates while Travis Ford turned a blind eye. At any rate, I am happy the Vaqs are getting these talented transfers even if some do come with baggage.

Stevie Clark update. This article mentions his verbal commitment to UTRGV. I don't know for sure but you would think Coach Hill recruited Stevie while he was in high school in Oklahoma. Link

I believe you are correct. Difficult to imagine Coach Hill himself or at least OU staff not recruiting this kid hard at the time. I think we are still in good shape with him. Him and Antonio Green in the same back court with the the others who sat out last season.... WOW that's some firepower for sure ! Hey Stevie come join the FUN, as Coach Hill cranks it up around here !
