Elijah Watson is transferring. Does Dinero Mercurius get a scholarship if he's redshirting? If he doesn't that leaves us at 13 with joesaar coming back. If he doesn't come back then that leaves us at 12 with room for 1 more.

After looking around I didn't get a clear cut answer but it looks like redshirting requires a scholarship. We're at 14 right now. If joesaar returns then someone else is probably going to have to transfer. By the looks of it Osborn might be next on the chopping block.

According to a recent interview Coach Hip said that he is 80% sure Joesaar will sign a professional contract and not return for 2015-16 season. It will depend if the money is right and numbers match to what Joesaar is looking for. Really hope he comes back. I am intrigued to see him in the lineup surrounded by the current talent assembled and what this team can do. We will see.

Isaiah Omoregie committed to Florida a&m. Kind of a sad story of what this kid had to go through in his senior year. Went to a prep school his senior year that ended up being a disaster. The coach is basically cheating all the players out of the tuition money. Never helped him get the classes he needed. Then the coach threw him out into the cold weather with his sickle cell anemia and he ended up being hospitalized. Florida a&m was probably the only school he was able to qualify for.

Wow James ! I was wondering what happened to that kid. Sounds like a mess, but now sounds like he has a real opportunity. He can ball from video I had seen of him. Was hoping we had a shot at him. God bless his journey!

I think I found the player they said was soon to be announced. Solomon Yon from westwind prep. His twitter has utrgv basketball on it and the youtube video he has linked has a share from assistant coach Jai Steadman. twitter.com/S_D0t3

Awesome! Hoffman looks versatile and smart. A year of learning system and weight lifting will benefit as he shirts for this upcoming season. Yon looks like he has superb court awareness from video. Excellent passer. Shooting mechanics look good too. He will need to release his shot much faster at D-1 level. Appears that he cares about defense too. Thanks guys!
