Has anybody heard the status on Briteesha Solomon for the 2014-15 season? I see her currently listed on the UTPA roster but have not seen her at events with the other ladies or mentioned on the Lady Broncs Basketball preview.

I've been wondering the same thing. Coach Tidwell's microphone was on & off at the tip-off luncheon, so I missed some of the team introduction.

Briteesha Solomon is on the current roster but she may have to sit out this year due to NCAA transfer rules. It's funny because she never played a minute her freshman season at San Diego State.

Briteesha Solomon is no longer listed on the official UTPA Womens Basketball roster. Her photo has recently been removed. If she was red shirting/transfer rules and currently on the team her picture would still be there, I suppose. She was a big time recruit that could tremendously help this team next year. Would hate to see her leave.

Kaelyn Boyd has been dismissed from the program for violating team rules and conduct detrimental to the team. Rickell Preston has been suspended for two games. Disappointing news. Boyd will leave a big void hard to fill. Hopefully it will be filled in by commitee and the team does not miss a beat. Not the news this team needed with such a good start to the season.
